Oh look who it is– AGAIN!!! I bet you’re as shocked as me! Baby Isla is napping and my wild man, Beck is at preschool probably torturing his precious teachers with face licks! Life is sweet! ❤ This North Carolina weather has been so crazy lately and we have been so ready to start spring sessions with beautiful flowers! It’s that time again. Time to share some of my recent beauties with all of you. I wish I was better with this, but I’m not. We have had a super busy Spring so far and I have a feeling it isn’t going to slow down anytime soon! Maybe in July we will get a minute of chill time in front of the pool. But until then…we work.
Since I usually offer mini sessions only in the fall, I decided to offer a few weekends of minis this spring as well. (due to popular demand) Weekends have been slammed with gorgeous families and babies and I can’t complain! Plus the weather is starting to show it’s love again!
Everyday my coffee tastes as amazing as the day before…it reminds me of how my photography is to me. I love capturing friends, family and change everyday. It always tastes good. Each day there is a new story to tell. I love it best when I spend time with long-time clients and they express how they adore looking back through the years of photos I’ve captured. Their lives have changed, and so has mine. All in front of the camera. ❤
Ok enough rambling…no one has time for my babbling emotions. Check below for some fabulous people. That is all.

Another month passes…and I am still behind with blogging. darn. Actually it’s a month and a half to be exact. May is such a busy and fun month though. May brings on all the beautiful flowers and people…with very little rainy ruined days! NC has been blessed with incredible weather so I’ve had barely a moment away from my camera or computer. So many brand new baby miracles, graduates starting onto a new page in their lives and families coming together and sharing their stories with me and my camera. It has been full of blessings! And since today is the first day of June, I thought I’d celebrate with a new blog post and flood your eyes with my gorgeous clients! ❤
GOAL OF THE MONTH: I am going to try to bring my camera out for my own little dudes more…so hopefully I’ll have some new photos to share with all of you soon! And one day I will start a mom blog with all the ridiculous/hilarious stories that happen to us or around us on a daily basis. Maybe that will be next month’s goal. Seriously- you guys wouldn’t even believe all the craziness that goes on around the Ras home! 🙂

To all you bloggers out there, you rock. I give you mad credit. I have so little time these days to blog, but today I am sharing one of my many many sessions lately.
Sweet sweet Finn was welcomed into the world by the most precious new parents, Cathrin and Drew! I photographed this awesome couple many many years ago and was over the moon excited when they contacted me with great news of a baby on the way! 🙂 I couldn’t wait to meet little Finn once he arrived. He is perfect. Chubby little perfection. I just love him. He slept like an angel and was the best newborn model for us. I hope you enjoy a peek at his greatness!!

Another beautiful family is blessed with a gorgeous & healthy baby boy!! I am so blessed to have been able to capture such a special time of their lives for them! Stephanie and James welcomed their little man Jackson to this world earlier this month and they seem to have mastered this “baby” stuff already! It has to help that he is so so cute! I got to start off 2014 with a sweet month old baby boy. I think that’s a fantastic way to bring in the new year!! Felix was having a growing day when I came to meet him, and all us Moms know what that means= LOTS and lots of eating! A baby’s got to do what a baby’s got to do. 😉 He was so darn cute though, and I love spending the afternoon with his sweet parents too! They even sent home a bag of amazing doggie treats for my 2 bullies…talk about hitting it out of the ballpark with my furry loves! Enjoy a peek at this beautiful, brand new little family!!!

The Gray Family were so wonderful to photograph. Little Landen is absolutely precious and loved like no other by his mommy and daddy! Their first baby Panda joined us too and made it even more fun!! Did I mention how much I love animals? Especially doggies!!! I can’t wait to see this family again for Landen’s 1st birthday session!! Hope you enjoy!!!
With this being my second to last 2013 post, I just have to say how blessed I feel for meeting this precious family and all the others this year. My journey with photography is so different (as I am learning) from so many other photographers…I continue to want to learn, grow and improve daily in my camera, lighting and post-processing skills but way more then all that I want to know people. I want to hear their stories, and share their love. I grow personally (selfishly) in this skill much more then I ever expected or dreamt. I judge less, accept more…respect each & every life so very much more than I did when I began. I am learning to balance my great love for people, wanting to please and being the wife, mother and woman I am hoping to be. It isn’t as easy as one would expect. I appreciate all of you supporting me, and trusting in me. Thank you. xo

I loved meeting the brand new Sheedy family of three, and capturing their perfect lil bundle- Edith!! And just like most of the newborns, Edith decided to have her first big day of NOT wanting to sleep when I arrived. 🙂 Luckily after some sweet love, full belly & warmth she could no longer fight it, and passed out perfectly for us! What a wonderful little surprise it was to meet the beautiful Kiser family recently, and their brand new addition- Kolton. I met them at a friend of their family’s home for their fun outdoor session- and quickly realized how small of a world it really is. My Daddy grew up with the sweet man that allowed us to use his property and fabulous “toys” for our session. I love living so close to the town that I grew up in…it will always be home. 🙂 Good southern gentlemen are priceless.
Kolton was absolutely a dream for his entire session. He almost slept the whole 2-3 hours we played and let his sister snuggle all over him. He is such a handsome baby boy. all 10lbs of him! 🙂 I loved their session, and their precious family!! Hope you enjoy it too!!
