2 days in a row?! Now this is a big deal.
All you moms out there know how hard it is to get 3 minutes to your self. Especially when you start your day with two babies in your bed. (aka- who sleeps?!) But here I am- showered, dressed (well sort of. as long as pjs count), fed and sitting alone with my second (reheated twice) coffee actually blogging and emailing and editing away. It’s a big deal.
I am planning on keeping things simple around here. (I write like I talk. Those of you that know me, know this.) But I do want to share a few pics of my people with you guys. Isla Drew turned ONE. WHOA. I have 5 kids now and 0 babies. That hurts. I still want 100000 babies. Which I thought that feeling was suppose to go away once you were done having kiddies. Nope. Anyways, she’s awesome and loving and silly and truly a gift. Funniest little unicorn you ever did see. She adores her brothers and they are obsessed with her. She fits right into their crazy, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Some of our sweet friends and family are in these photos as well. Life is so precious, I want to remember every moment. And every loved one.
Oh and some exciting news…my good friend Jessy (fab photog) and I are hosting our very first Photog Mama Photography class in a little over a week. I can’t wait to share all the fun with you guys. ❤
ok Happy Thursday beautiful friends!! xx

Davidson, NC {FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY} {CHILD PHOTOGRAPHY} {NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY}
Blog life…hmmm it’s not for me. Although, I think I’d be really great as an actual blogger. Like if that’s all I had to do. Just write about my crazy days and family and friends. I’d keep you guys entertained for a lifetime. For real. But unfortunately, this is just how I share a little bit of my passion and life with everyone. I wish I spent more time sharing…but it’s rough finding the extra time. Between the stacks of emails, memory cards, schedules, editing, more scheduling, learning, playing with my crazy boys, keeping my kiddos alive, keeping my doggies alive, keeping up with laundry, endless meals for everyone and well let’s be real- the endless list of to-dos….I’m just not sure how anyone has time to add blogging to their list.
I started this post last night, but then didn’t have time to finish it…so I’m back at it this morning. See what I mean?! Summer has been a whirlwind and I just dropped off our first little stud muffin to his first day of 2nd grade. I was doing fine until the radio played a depressing song for moms called “slow down”…yeah, I may have shed some tears. It really slaps you in the face. The years are flying by. Summers home with 4 kids are super long, but in reality I already miss it. The chaos will one day be completely different chaos, and I’ll miss every moment of the craziness that we’re in now. I am thankful for photos, and iPhones. I do my best to capture it all before it disappears. Ok done venting.
So I can’t even remember the last sessions I shared with all of you but I will share some from my last month of fun! I will also do my best to share more with you all during this CRAZY fall/winter season of sessions! I am so blessed with such extraordinary clients and cannot wait to see everyone again this year! ❤ I love you guys and cheers to school being back, pumpkin pies, and cool crisp air. YES!!!

Charlotte, NC {family photography} {child photography}
I’m skipping around today with my sessions and had to blog this gorgeous family that I got to hang with last week! The Knag family is drop dead fabulous. And even better on the inside. I would choose to photograph them every week if I could. Seriously. We did nothing but laugh and chat…and well take a few photos. We met up in the NODA area of Charlotte and just played around the city streets! I could share 100 of their images and never get tired of their beautiful faces! Their three girls have become such little ladies over the years and are such a joy to photograph. I’d have to say good parenting 101 is happening there! I feel lucky and honored to share this family with you all!!
ps- I am pretty sure these girls should all be full time child models. just sayin’ ❤
Enjoy! xo
