Kellan is a big ball of adorable love. Oh my. I photographed him at 6 months and I’m pretty sure he’s twice as tall as he was 6 months ago. He was such a doll for his entire moment of fame…I love all his fun images and you will all want to squeeze him too!! Enjoy!!

I could write a book about this beautiful family and our adventurous session…but I don’t have time to spend on the little written details this time around. (so I can hurry up and finish all of everyone’s images…they’re calling my name!) Lots of krispy kremes later, a stolen yellow chair, tons of hysterical images and plenty of fresh bruises…we ended up with a phenomenal session. Three perfect babies…Ella, Scottie and Jake. Truly little miracles. and I love love love their Mommy…beautiful Meghan is a dear friend.

soooooooooooo far behind on all my blog updates…thank you rain for ruining our parades weekend after weekend. All the rain caused so many sessions to be rescheduled…causing my good weather days to be PACKED with fun sessions! Either way, I’m behind- but they’re coming. promise.

The sweet Preusse Family met me in the Midwood Plaza area of Charlotte and we bopped around the streets having fun. Little Anthony is soon to be one, so we ended with his cake smash. Unfortunately, the monsoon couldn’t wait for us to finish. Anthony fought through the wind and some rain for that yummy cake of his! And we all were stranded 2 or 3 blocks from our cars…great stories though. We had a blast though…hope you enjoy!!

So, the good news is…I got to photograph an incredible family this past weekend. The bad news is…I had 5 others that are having to be rescheduled due to yet ANOTHER icky, rainy & cold weekend!!! Fingers crossed that tomorrow begins the new spring streak of sunshine, warm temps and happiness all around!!!
Oz, Kim and precious lil Eli (9 months old) were rocking the 40 and 50 degree temps early Saturday morning, and yes they were dressed for spring. duh. It should be warm, and it should be sunny. Spring sessions aren’t suppose to look like a spring in Antarctica…thus we have the colorful and springy Osborne Family. We laughed and hung out…I love my fun chats with new friends, and I know that is deep down the real reason behind this so called “talent” of mine. One day if I were to lose interest in people, their stories, their dreams, and their loves then I would most likely go back to only photographing my own children. But as most people know…I can’t stop talking and asking questions. or a better way of saying it- I love to talk and I love to be curious to learn everything about how & why people tick. The Osborne’s adore their main man Eli- and I fell in love with him as well. He does this awesome little nose curl currently…and I want his Mommy & Daddy to remember it forever. I hope I captured the true beauty of this sweet sweet family!

The Plate family welcomed their third perfect little girl into the world not even two weeks ago, and I am so blessed to be a part of it. Baby Neely is one of the biggest babies I’ve photographed for sure, but there is something about newborn baby rolls that just steals my heart! Neely wasn’t a fan of being snuggled up into a tight ball or tucked really at all…but towards the end she gave up and became a sleepy and squishy newborn for us! Her older sisters absolutely ADORE her and Lilia (the oldest) would probably take care of Neely all day long if someone would let her. The middle sister, Evie instantly became my buddy…and she wanted to be in all the action too. Evie has the most gorgeous lips of any little girl I’ve ever seen. hands down. All three of the Plate girls are beautiful and their parents have a lifetime of boys to worry about… hope you enjoy!!

I have been capturing the Elliot Family’s special moments for a few years now, and to watch them grow from a family of 3 (new mommy & daddy; Clara was just an infant) to now a complete family of 4, really warms me inside. Clara is now a big sister of a handsome little brother, Robert Curtis Elliot- “Beau”!! Their Mommy is a rockstar birthing babies, and she deserves extra stars for it! And Daddy is so supportive of all of them, keeping the family together with unconditional love. I enjoyed my morning with their family, and the best part is seeing how much one tiny itty bitty goey baby can change their world & turn it upside down so quickly. (it happens every single time…it’s a given.) I love chaos, and the more children you bring into the world the more chaos and more love you have as well. I work better and live more fully in beautiful chaos…
I love these fun moments, and I hope you do too!! {many of these I just had to share because they are just hysterical. having a toddler running around is always a fun time!}

A few weeks ago I met the adorable Jessica, she was referred to me through a friend to do her family photos of her new lil nugget and her tiny lil tot man— it went perfectly. Her family is precious and we had such a fun time romping and rolling around their yard and home. A week later she called and asked me to try to make it work for another session in another week…her sweet sister was coming in town with her family. So, I was blessed to photograph Jessica and her family twice in a few weeks time—it was fantastic. I’m pretty sure if she lived closer, we’d be having wine daily and letting our lil boys frolic. Jessica’s sister, Tiffany, and her sweet family were just as wonderful. They made my “job” {well, if you want to call it that} very easy. They played and I captured every second. They have 2 lil girls that are behaved so perfectly and showed off their fun personalities at the same time. I am so glad we got lots of sparkly shots of the 4 cousins together!! Enjoy!!

SO SO much love in this family…so much that I look back through these pics and catch myself smiling just because their smiles are so contagious. Little Jack is 14 months old and his Mom & Dad (Becky & PJ) just adore him to pieces…one memory I will giggle about forever is the fact Jack knows Chinese better than English and his parents just had to say a few words (that I did not understand at all) to get him to start laughing and clapping. I loved laughing with these wonderful people!!! Enjoy!!

So yes, I know I’m suppose to be keeping these blog entries quick but there is just so much I want to say sometimes. Thankfully my photos speak for themselves and explain these families perfectly! Kate & Doug are awesome (lame word, I know–but I couldn’t come up with anything better to describe them!), you can see their love and respect for one another within moments of seeing them together. They have three of the most handsome boys, 8, 6 and 2 1/2 years old…and they are all so much fun to hang out with. The outdoors and being real boys is their life!! The entire time we were playing I was thinking “geez, I can only dream for my kids to be this well-behaved and well-rounded at these ages.” Their family was such a delight to photograph and I hope you enjoy!
