The Thompson’s welcomed their newest addition to the world just a week before I got to meet him…perfect lil Max. 🙂 I was so thrilled for their family when I heard they were expecting another little one…and I knew the big sister Stella would be amazing! I spent the morning in their home snuggling Max, chatting with the family & yes, I suppose we took a few photos as well! 😉 I love when I get to visit a client’s home and see all my images covering their walls. It just makes my week!! Hope you enjoy some of their happiness!!

The Maher Family started off on the wrong foot (literally)– I felt terrible, Heather (the precious Mommy) was attacked by a giant pile of ants! 😦 That is never good, but I am grateful it wasn’t one of their precious lil ones!! They were fun to photograph and Kaylan, their daughter has an incredible imagination that entertained us all the whole time!! Hope you enjoy their (very late) peek!!!

I loved meeting the brand new Sheedy family of three, and capturing their perfect lil bundle- Edith!! And just like most of the newborns, Edith decided to have her first big day of NOT wanting to sleep when I arrived. 🙂 Luckily after some sweet love, full belly & warmth she could no longer fight it, and passed out perfectly for us! I am beginning to think I may just stay forever behind on the blog. Blogger FAIL. Or maybe that will be my new stylishly late flow. Either way…let’s not judge my friends. 🙂 (who has time for that anyways!!) Instead enjoy a few gorgeous families that grabbed a spot on my calendar in this CRAZY season of Autumn!
Chance is extraordinary. She is beyond talented. seriously. I don’t know anyone with a better party planning skill set for starters. But if I went on and on about this beauty I would run out of time to post all these fab sessions! I love Chance and her handsome lil man Pierceson! The moment she called me and asked what I had up my sleeve this year for their session, it came to me instantly…THE FAIR!!! I just knew her style would be glowing at a fair, plus what 5 1/2 year old boy doesn’t ADORE the fair! The lights, the colors, the movement and textures, cotton candy, fried oreos (what?), ok funnel cakes and candy apples…I could not wait!!! Their fun session was even more special to me because I got to have my oldest little mini me tag along so as soon as we finished up with all our pics- we all got to enjoy the fair together!!! Making memories for sure! SO SO SO MUCH FUN!!! Hope you get to see a glimpse of what an incredible Mother Chance is and the love/bond these two share. Moms go to the end of the earth for their babies, and no one ever has to ask. 🙂 Enjoy!!!

As I pulled up to meet the adorable Bailey Family, I couldn’t help but giggle. A Christmas tree covered in lights (yep, a full size tree) was parked in the middle of the road, while 2 precious little girls twirled around it with pink cowboy boots on. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? My heart jumped with excitement. I knew right away that the Bailey family was going to be fun…and willing to be themselves even with my crazy self & giant camera smashed all in their personal space! I was spot on. They rocked it. Their girls were beyond sweet, and I am quite sure they’re both extremely brilliant as well. They were a blast and I hope you see that in all their photos!! Enjoy!!

The Ray Family is fabulous. period. I love their beautiful, large family. All 5 of their kiddos were so incredibly behaved…even after they opened up and relaxed. They are such a joy to photograph and have such a deep love for one another. This Mom & Dad are doing something right! 🙂 I hope to see them all again soon…and I am sure I did quite the abdominal workout that evening from all the laughing!! Enjoy their peek!!!

Can you imagine having 4 beautiful children all with stunningly blonde hair and bright blue eyes??? WOW!!! The Koster Family has to get looks everywhere they go, because in all the years I’ve photographed families I had never seen four toeheads until now! The Kosters were incredible to photograph…beyond the obvious (being gorgeous), they were so so fun and laid back. Their children were so well behaved but still played and enjoyed themselves. I adore how they seem to take care of one another and love each other so much! I am so blessed to get the opportunity to photograph and become friends with such awesome families!! Enjoy their lil peek!!
oh and ps- their baby Emmy just turned 1 so we had a fabulous cake smash to celebrate!!! enjoy!!

Our lil family just returned home from a short but sweet vacation to Hilton Head Island and I wanted to let everyone get a quick peek at my lil happy place! 😉
Although I spent many hours on my computer inside a beautiful, newly renovated hotel room…my happy place was on the beach with my precious family. The boys were in heaven out there. Their freedom and simple peace reminds me of where my photography journey truly began. Our boys enjoyed every second barefoot, swimming, dancing and trouble-making— and that’s what really matters.
Kemp and I know how blessed were are and thank God every day. I have many fun sessions to share with you all of some incredible families, but for tonight I’m just sharing these couple images from my cell phone! I’m not in my office or glued to my computer…I’m in bed devouring some pumpkin doughnuts and thanking our Great God above. Hope you enjoy these and keep your eyes open for new blog updates this weekend and upcoming week!!

Nothing is more thrilling for me then a large and fun family. Yes, I know, I sound crazy. But it’s my truth. I enjoy the challenge and all the high energy. I am driven by people and their energy so it’s 100% up my alley. It brings so much joy to me to watch a large family playing and interacting together. In my heart I feel like it is what makes this world go round. The Rheault Family succeeded in all these things in my eyes! Their handsome twin boys slept on their way to meet me, so in the beginning we were trying to wrangle them into a happy place…but their precious littlest man, Bentley made up for that with his happiness. I loved how peaceful & loving their Mom, Suzie was and how fun and loving their Dad, Matt was! Henry and Carson eventually woke up all the way and were ready to show me their fabulous sides of fun. The sun was breath-takingly gorgeous and our final product makes me smile from ear to ear.

What man enjoys giving up his football Sunday for family photos??? Yep, I hear crickets. No one that I know. So I knew when we scheduled a morning session for the Mayes Family it couldn’t last hours and hours. 🙂 Robert and Megan were awesome. And their new little man, Cam ROCKED it. I couldn’t believe how perfect and tiny he was for being a month old already. I had hopes of getting a few “newborn” shots of him, but assumed he would be too old to squish up into gooey perfection for us. I was wrong…being a month early, gave us an extra month of newborn shots! YAY! I loved hanging out with the Mayes’ and cuddling their precious Cam.
