These two love birds are expecting their first baby in November, and how fun- they are having a little girl! 🙂 We had the best lighting for our entire session and I had a blast hanging out with these two! Kristen is very obviously glowing and so so tiny! She has the perfect little soccer ball belly! Baby Nora will be adored and hopefully arriving in November! Enjoy their love!!!

The Gray Family were so wonderful to photograph. Little Landen is absolutely precious and loved like no other by his mommy and daddy! Their first baby Panda joined us too and made it even more fun!! Did I mention how much I love animals? Especially doggies!!! I can’t wait to see this family again for Landen’s 1st birthday session!! Hope you enjoy!!!
With this being my second to last 2013 post, I just have to say how blessed I feel for meeting this precious family and all the others this year. My journey with photography is so different (as I am learning) from so many other photographers…I continue to want to learn, grow and improve daily in my camera, lighting and post-processing skills but way more then all that I want to know people. I want to hear their stories, and share their love. I grow personally (selfishly) in this skill much more then I ever expected or dreamt. I judge less, accept more…respect each & every life so very much more than I did when I began. I am learning to balance my great love for people, wanting to please and being the wife, mother and woman I am hoping to be. It isn’t as easy as one would expect. I appreciate all of you supporting me, and trusting in me. Thank you. xo

As I pulled up to meet the adorable Bailey Family, I couldn’t help but giggle. A Christmas tree covered in lights (yep, a full size tree) was parked in the middle of the road, while 2 precious little girls twirled around it with pink cowboy boots on. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? My heart jumped with excitement. I knew right away that the Bailey family was going to be fun…and willing to be themselves even with my crazy self & giant camera smashed all in their personal space! I was spot on. They rocked it. Their girls were beyond sweet, and I am quite sure they’re both extremely brilliant as well. They were a blast and I hope you see that in all their photos!! Enjoy!!

Nothing is more thrilling for me then a large and fun family. Yes, I know, I sound crazy. But it’s my truth. I enjoy the challenge and all the high energy. I am driven by people and their energy so it’s 100% up my alley. It brings so much joy to me to watch a large family playing and interacting together. In my heart I feel like it is what makes this world go round. The Rheault Family succeeded in all these things in my eyes! Their handsome twin boys slept on their way to meet me, so in the beginning we were trying to wrangle them into a happy place…but their precious littlest man, Bentley made up for that with his happiness. I loved how peaceful & loving their Mom, Suzie was and how fun and loving their Dad, Matt was! Henry and Carson eventually woke up all the way and were ready to show me their fabulous sides of fun. The sun was breath-takingly gorgeous and our final product makes me smile from ear to ear.

What a wonderful little surprise it was to meet the beautiful Kiser family recently, and their brand new addition- Kolton. I met them at a friend of their family’s home for their fun outdoor session- and quickly realized how small of a world it really is. My Daddy grew up with the sweet man that allowed us to use his property and fabulous “toys” for our session. I love living so close to the town that I grew up in…it will always be home. 🙂 Good southern gentlemen are priceless.
Kolton was absolutely a dream for his entire session. He almost slept the whole 2-3 hours we played and let his sister snuggle all over him. He is such a handsome baby boy. all 10lbs of him! 🙂 I loved their session, and their precious family!! Hope you enjoy it too!!

Ashley and Patrick just recently built a new home up in “suburbia” (said goodbye to the city life)…so we decided to have their session up at their new home and capture some of their daily life in photos! I love when families add their personal details to their sessions. I adore the Rogers family and their adorable kiddies! I couldn’t believe it had already been almost a year since I was capturing their Emmy’s first few days of life…time disappears so quickly. Bennett is 3 and Emmy is 1 any day now, and my goodness these two know how to have a good time and enjoy life. (I think they get it from their Mommy & Daddy!) I absolutely felt blessed to have captured this fabulous family’s sweet moments recently. The Rhyne Family actually won my session in a silent auction at the Yvette W. Ferris Foundation last year- so I know this session meant even more than the normal family session. Every penny went to a fantastic cause. Back to the Rhyne’s…they were a blast to shoot. We laughed deep belly laughs and chatted non-stop. Davis and Katie are gorgeous blondies- that are just as well mannered and loving as they are beautiful. In the end, while saying goodbyes- Katie went into her car and came back with a little note that said “I love U” and on the other side it said “I love U a lot lot lot lot”. She made my week. I love what I do. I hope you enjoy their moments!!
PS- they couldn’t have picked a more perfect setting either. spectacular farm. 🙂
The Ortiz Family

The Ortiz Family gets the cool honor of being my very first family with quadruplets! I am still in awe of how amazing Gabe and Niury are as parents. I cannot even wrap my head around 4 newborns wanting to eat, all at the exact same time. This dear family has raised two girls (Olivia & Juliana) and two boys (Aiden & Gabriel) to be wonderful little five year olds! Their family makes my top three strongest family list for sure! Not just for raising 4 awesome little kiddos but beginning the hardest fight of their lives here in the last month. Gabe had just finished his first chemo treatment right before our session. What a strong man, and the ultimate role model for his children. He will win.
One of my shots from their session brought me to tears instantly. I was sitting in my car going through the images and deleting all the “bad” shots, when I crossed by a shot that a sunbeam clearly was coming from heaven and directly going on Gabe’s head. I have never in all my 10 million + images have ever seen this. What a moment.
I am so grateful to have spent my evening learning all about the Ortiz family…and each of their fun personalities! We had such a great time playing on the farm…feeding donkeys and looking for fish! I hope I captured the true essence of their sweet family! I have had such an incredible week of inspiration. Thank you to all of you.
