I couldn’t wait to meet this lil smushy cutie pie Landon! 6 days new and I got to snuggle him and mold him into the perfect posed babe that he is. Shari and Reggie are so excited to be a new mommy and daddy, and you would think they’ve done it for years. (so natural) Landon is a BIG boy to say the least…basically super strong and muscular already. Love everything about him though but the best is his lil furrowed brow–it’s his signature move right now. Hope you enjoy his beautiful photos…

Sessions like these make me all warm and fuzzy inside…beautiful sunshine, a gorgeous backdrop of lake norman (and the exact spot Ginny & Woody said “I DO”), and an adorable family!!! The best part is Abigail is stunning and loves my camera! We played and poured sweat but it was all for a great result! Their session almost needed no editing what-so-ever! Abigail is almost 6 months and is precious. So precious that I could have taken her home and added her to our zoo of boys!!! Hope you enjoy their peek…

The Berg’s have a very active little boy…in my mind that’s a wonderful thing. He is curious about the world in front of him and doesn’t want to sit still for long. I had fun running through or dodging sprinklers trying to keep up with this little toddler! His sweet mom has the patience of a saint and I couldn’t believe she is a stay at home mommy! I stay at home with my three wild men, and I swear I wear a sign on my forehead that says “HI, I’m a crazy stay at home mom…please don’t test my patience, because I have none.” We had fun playing around and I know we all sweat enough to lose a few pounds! Ashley and Patrick have the most fun little boy I have ever met (ps-I have met a LOT of boys…plus my fun 3 too!) -Bennett, who is 2 and a half years old and will soon be a big brother to a precious baby sister! Bennett made me smile from the minute he peeked out of his car seat. I don’t think I could get enough of him, ever!! They are such a sweet family and we had a great time chatting, laughing and sweating (another 100 degree day, yuck!) while capturing some fun moments on camera! Looking forward to meeting their new little bundle soon, hope you enjoy their peek!

As I climbed into my car last night I called Cam & Mindy and said “it’s storming here- shall we still try to make our session happen?”- the immediate answer was YES, it’s clear and sunny here. So, off I went and I am pretty sure I drove in the eye of the storm the entire 50 minute trip. I couldn’t believe it was sunny where we were meeting…but as I got closer I could see the perfect circle of clear blue skies up ahead of me. Right before I arrived the rain closed in and started a huge downpour…but to make a long story short- we stuck to our plan and ended up doing our photos anyway. Breaks of sunlight and drops of rain here and there added to the beauty of this botanical garden and adorable family. Cam & Mindy adore their precious little Stella. She is two and that is exactly the stage she is in…”I do it” stage! (One of my favorites actually…well, for photography!) We had fun and made it work, hope you enjoy their peek!

Where do I begin with these fun three…Leslie and I go way back, the fun/wild college days to be exact. She has always been the adorably spunky red head- so fun. She is now a photographer herself and an amazing one at that! It was such a HUGE compliment to have another photographer ask to me to photograph her and her family…possibly the greatest compliment of all. Dana and Alex live in Kentucky but came in town for a visit (Dana and Leslie are sisters!)…I got to capture lots of fun memories of these three beauties- it was an absolute blast. I knew right away I would get along with this pretty blonde…we have the same name!!! Heather and Tyler had been dating for 8 years…and he had her carve their names in a tree out in the woods, write the date too and that moment he proposed. So they took me out to their special tree deep within the forest where Tyler grew up, very cool. They have such a fun story and I love that he is country and she is (almost) city. Hope you enjoy their engagement session, and look forward to their wedding in September! (my 1 and ONLY wedding I am doing this year!)

Oh my this family is fun- and is exactly why I ADORE my job!!! I enjoyed every second spent with Clara, Daniel and all their boys yesterday! They never fail me by showing up looking stunning and rocking their session every time! Cade and Chance are awesome big brothers and I loved watching their interactions with their 6 month old little man, Axle. Clara is full of life, love, laughter and beauty…and Daniel compliments her so beautifully, just handsome and sweet. Great times, lots of laughter and capturing their memories out in the fields…it was a great session! Hope you enjoy!!

I met this sweet girl, Jessica back in the good ol’ college days and now she has a handsome hubby, Ed and an adorable little boy, Maddox. They booked this session months ago and of course it would start to pour rain as we drove to our spot for photos. But we made it work with a few umbrellas and laughter! They rocked it through the rain and I learned that I am able to take photos while holding an umbrella at the exact same time! Score!!! Hope you enjoy their sneak peek…

Fun morning with a wonderful family celebrating their parent’s being married for 50 years- how awesome is that?! The Hilgert family is down visiting this weekend from Pittsburgh, PA and I am so glad I was able to meet all of them and capture some shots of a memorable trip! What better way to celebrate your incredible parents! Getting 18 people (including children) to all look at the camera at the same time is tough- but they rocked it! Got some great shots, and even re-created Art and Carol’s last wedding photo, their car departure picture. I hope in 44 years my husband and I are still so in love with an amazing, big family that loves us tons too. Enjoy their photos 🙂
