Great title, huh? How many of you think this same exact thing every single day? I know I do. Blogging is what I have learned isn’t the top of my “to-do” list. Actually it might be the last. Even after dishes or clipping all 4 of my kiddie’s toenails. Yea- that low. I hate to say that because I know this is how so many of you keep up with me, my family and my beautiful clients…but gosh it is hard to sit down and organize my thoughts and photos into a post.
If you know me…well, or even have spoken to me before- you know I have some intense ADHD…aka I start talking about one thing and quickly mention a totally different subject mid-sentence. That’s how I feel about blogging too. I just want to write everything down all at once and press publish. DONE.
I start typing…then boom. A kid is pouring water down my leg and into my purse. I start typing again. Deadly screams begin. I go save the child’s life that was in danger. I start typing again. Shoot…I forgot to email the 57 people back that I promised I would. Email everyone. I start typing again. Where was I? Hmmm… I’m hungry, maybe I should start my blogging tonight. Oh wait…let me finish up editing everyone’s images first. THEN I will blog. ok.
This happens way too often for me. So today I have 5 more minutes of peace and quiet to get my crazy wild world written down and shared to all you fun people. Not to mention, I’ve been photographing STUNNINGLY, beautiful families that I need to share too!
Life is never boring. Never calm either. But I wouldn’t trade it for anyone else’s life. Spring is coming and I cannot even wait- mini sessions are pretty much booked up but I have a couple of full sessions left until summer! I am so excited about all the new mamas to be that I am meeting and capturing. Soon my days will be filled with lots of those new babies too. Bring on the fresh air and sunshine. Tulips and peonies. bliss. I am ready to be outside all day long everyday. 🙂
Thanks for sticking around to be a part of our crazy world. Life is so good with you in it. ❤
enjoy the chaotic catch up!!
ps- if you want to stay updated a little better and see more of my recent images check out my Facebook page! ❤
oh so I am behind on sharing my own little muffins too…so here is Beck’s 1st Birthday pics!!
oh and the fun snow photos…
then back to my beautiful families and kiddies
so many more sessions will be up soon…I’m in crazy editing mode so I can get them all out to everyone! Can’t wait to share!

Chelsea and I chatted quite a few months back about setting up a session for her engagement photos with her fiance Duncan…and many months later (crazy fall & Christmas sessions had already filled the books), we finally meet!! Of course we had great weather for a few days, then the day of our session it was freezing and gloomy! But they rocked it and were such troopers the entire time. These two have such a beautiful life ahead of them, and I am so happy to share some of their love with you! Their wedding is this Fall up in New York…I look forward to seeing lots of gorgeous photos from their big day! Enjoy!!!!

I really hate that I don’t have more time to write down all the fun I have with each session I do these days, but I promise after the Fall I’ll be back to my normal posts!
Shaye and Phillip are so so adorable, and so so sweet. Small town greatness at its best. They are getting married next May 11th! They were a blast to photograph, and I just know they have a lifetime of happiness ahead of them! And to end it off for the evening, Shaye surprised me with a little gift that seriously made my month– a wine sippy cup 🙂 . She must read minds, or just knows what it’s like with 3 wild boys! Hope you enjoy…

I knew right away I would get along with this pretty blonde…we have the same name!!! Heather and Tyler had been dating for 8 years…and he had her carve their names in a tree out in the woods, write the date too and that moment he proposed. So they took me out to their special tree deep within the forest where Tyler grew up, very cool. They have such a fun story and I love that he is country and she is (almost) city. Hope you enjoy their engagement session, and look forward to their wedding in September! (my 1 and ONLY wedding I am doing this year!)
