Charlotte, NC {whoa holy huge update}

Can you believe it?

I AM ALIVE.

I deserve worst blogger award for 2014. End of story.

But the other side to the story is I have super happy kids. Their Mommy has been full time Mommy again…and they are super content with that. Balancing work and babies…not the easiest job on earth. <Oh and ps- my husband has a hip and back injury which has changed our entire life and our scheduling. Not to mention, how the heck do you single Mommies do it?> So when everyone was taking and taking from me, I decided I had to give something up (or slack off for a little while). Yes, it was blogging.

All my beautiful clients were still getting in front of my camera, and receiving their gorgeous images a couple weeks later…but sadly, they didn’t get to see their sparkle of beauty on my blog. And now it’s practically summer. WHAT?

So here I sit finishing up a couple sessions, realizing I have a couple minutes of waiting time…and here I am. I want to share a few photos from the missing months of blogging.

I love you all and I am so grateful to have you all to share these gorgeous people with! I hope to be back to my regular blogging soon!

So two of my favorite things on earth were under the same roof for the Stawick Family’s session… (and no I’m not talking about the doughnuts) squishy-faced doggies and kiddies! I could move right in. Erica and Steve have the two cutest pugs I have ever seen- hands down. And now have added a second precious baby to their little family- beautiful lil Sophie. Charlie, the big brother who just turned two, could have anything I own. That lil guy had some way of sucking me in, and truly could have come home with me! Charlie was so patient and sweet with his new baby sister, I still can’t really believe it. He just took it all in. Big blue eyes looking up at me, just waiting for whatever I said next. Yes, this seems rare to me. And extremely special. I hope his Mommy & Daddy know that. After many years of photographing children with their new baby siblings, I can say he is the minority. It’s such a HUGE change in their little worlds. As for lil Miss Sophie…she couldn’t be any more perfect!! That gorgeous head full of hair is amazing, and a dream for a lover of girlie bows. She has already learned how to just go with the flow and fits right into their adorable family!

The Stawick’s played on their bed…pug babies and all. I wish I could post every single shot from their fun ruckus- but that would spoil all their fun! I loved how informal everything was and how their chaos is so beautiful. Hope you enjoy…

Cameron {hello world}

Huntersville, NC {newborn photography}

He arrived!! Shana and Brandon finally got to meet their little miracle! The Heagles and I hung out a few months ago and I captured the special belly photos…and in a blink of an eye (well for me) the little Cam is here! Such a blessing. I spent a morning at their home enjoying this little cutie pie, and I am so glad he was in the mood to stay squishy and lovey for us! He was an angel the entire time actually. I know I can’t always say that, so when I can brag on a newborn- I jump on it!! Although I still had my cast on- we used team work (with the help of Grandma) to rock Cam’s 1st official photoshoot.
