So having 4 kids rocks, but is INSANE hard to “put” down to come sit at my computer and blog. I give those blogger Moms credit…they are stronger than me. I am doing good to post a few sneak peeks every once in a while on my facebook page these days. eek!!! Sorry about that friends!!! I love to share my work so I continue to try to update you guys here as much as possible!
My news: well, not much. Just getting use to the balancing act of LIFE! Mom, wife, sister, daughter, business owner, photographer, friend, cook, dish lady, house cleaner, laundry fairy and so on…you know…the normal stuff us mommies try to balance. We have recently put our house on the market as well, just to add another fun “ball” to our juggling routine. PS- anyone ever try to clean a house with four boys while watching them destroy it as soon as you move to the next room? Oh so fun.
Anyways, my peace is coming from my fun photo sessions lately. I get to enjoy our people’s chaos and capture all their love! I did a maternity session last week that was so peaceful and calm that I sat down on the edge of the creek and had a moment to actually hear myself think. I thought about that love and true passion I have within me for people and their stories. I am so grateful that I found my calling and so blessed that you all support me! 🙂 Thank you!!!
Beck is now 4 months old and still incredible. He is delicious and shockingly relaxed. I can wear him for sessions after sessions and he doesn’t make a peep! God knew what he was doing! He is almost 17lbs and laughs and smiles all day, unless he’s sleeping! Rockstar baby!
Ok now for some updates on sessions!!! Spring is finally here and the flowers are blooming! I have completely booked up all my spring minis and have a few more full sessions left here and there! I will be announcing some beach sessions dates soon and may open up some other locations in Florida this year! CANNOT WAIT!!!

There is a good chance many friends, clients and new beautiful faces have come here to my blog in the last two months and noticed how lame I am with keeping my blog updated. #bloggerfail Yes, not a very proud moment. BUT…I am NOT behind on my editing or my sessions or my kids or my family or my friends (ok I may be a tad behind on that one too!)— it’s FALL YA’LL!!! Fall is here and that means crisp air, beautiful colors, pumpkin EVERYTHING and most of all my busiest time of year! With that being said- my blogging and updating comes last in the line up. I hope you all don’t mind! I do try to keep my facebook page (www.facebook.com/heathermariephotographync ) updated daily with sneak peeks and any other fun info I have up my sleeve!
I just counted…I am 41 sessions behind on the blog. Can you even imagine? WHOA. Sorry guys. I will make it up to you on my maternity leave surely. What else will I want to do while I’m snuggling my newest little ninja?!
Speaking of that…my personal update {obviously skip this part if you have no interest with this} is great! This baby is a beast. Measuring ahead and staying up high so I remember he is ALWAYS there. We both are loving this cooler weather though! His big brothers are getting excited about his arrival into this world. “Mom when is our brother going to pop out?” “Mom I think the baby is going to beat Cade in soccer once he gets out of there.” -daily questions and comments flow around our home.
Back to the Photography: I’ve already had our first 2 mini session dates and they were completely successful in all ways! The weather worked out for us and all the families looked amazing! Plus it was great exercise for me! I loved playing with all the precious little ones! I feel incredibly blessed to be able to do what I love and also call it my job– you guys make that possible for me. Thank you. A million times.
I have been booked solid for the year for months now and I am so very grateful. I do hate letting people down now this close to Christmas card season that I don’t have any openings but I am doing a wait list and filling any cancellations off of that the moment I get one. So far- it’s working!! I am currently booking 2015 clients and filling spots very quickly if anyone is looking for next year sessions. Lots of the Spring slots are full, and we have TONS of 2015 babies on the horizon! YAY!!!
I want to share a few photos from the past month + with you guys, and hopefully all the sneak peeks very soon!! I hope you enjoy all the beauty that I get to see every day…

The Sink Family

How could you not adore the Sink family?? I wanted to hang out at their house all night! We had rescheduled their session too many times to count (lovely summer weather) so we were determined to make it work this time!!! We quickly figured out that staying inside their home was NOT the answer to happy and fun kiddos!!! Outside we went…and the fun began! Their girls are to die for and I would easily keep them as my own. Such a fun family to photograph and you can see it in all their images!! Enjoy!!

I’m sure most of you have seen me post on facebook, instagram or on here before about all the gorgeous little girl’s clothing I would put my daughter in if I had one. I am fortunate enough to have a pretend daughter (my best friend’s little girl, Braelyn) to dream with from time to time! Matilda Jane is one of my ultimate favorite girls clothing lines out there. I have always adored their pieces and all the extra joy they bring to my photos when my clients where them. They are having a second release of their Paint by Numbers Collection and I was sent a few samples to showcase to the world on the beautiful Braelyn. This collection is GORGEOUS!!! I personally would wear these clothes every day if they came in my size! 🙂
The Paint by Numbers Collection is full of fun colors and character. Every piece is made special with such perfect detail. From the bursts of floral, aqua, yellow jeweled buttons, to the happy ruffles– every little girl dreams of dressing up in these! It’s so enjoyable creating endless outfits with mixing and matching all their fabulous pieces. Layering or just keeping them alone gives complete different looks, which we also love! Braelyn loved how comfy and soft all her pieces were! She is wearing the Atmosphere Dress with the Arrow Wood Bennys, and then we added the Plum Kitten Cardigan for those cooler Autumn days.
As a photographer, we dream of our clients dressing up their little girls in Matilda Jane…the girls love feeling like princesses and it shows in their images! As a Mother, we love dressing our children in quality clothing that lasts and keeps our children young and happy for as long as we can!

I couldn’t wait to share these sweet images of another beautiful family! I love the Shait family and all the fun and real beauty they stand for! Havens is almost 3 and seriously shines from the inside out…and little Walt is almost 6 months and has changed so so much since his newborn session (wow!). Walt is such a happy lil guy, and completely easy going. Havens is adventurous and completely steals the show when she wants into a room. We had fun sweating and dodging giant mosquitoes the day of our session…but what can we expect after 2 straight months of rain and more rain. Hope you enjoy their peek….

The Albright Family came prepared with champagne and cups for all…that is the way to really begin a beautiful day!! 🙂 I loved photographing their family and we had a blast running around an old camp site- avoiding injuries! It is so much fun getting to know each family I meet, and learning all about their dynamic! With all these gorgeous blooms (plus the abundance of pollen covering every inch of our town, and sinuses), I decided I needed to stop off and grab a couple spring shots of our little monsters. Without them, I truly doubt I would’ve found this passion for child photography- or ever would’ve turned my camera off of auto to figure out what else it would do. These boys are my world. {+God and my handsome hubby} oh, and Cooper and Dozer <our four-legged children>. So, with that being said- it was a nice day and I had a last minute cancellation, so I took the boys out to eat and headed to a beautiful field of yellow flowers! Then I let the rugrats be themselves. To top it off I had a friend with her adorable son meet me there too…so it ended up as a fun playdate as well. You can never have too many photos of your own children. EVER. I know I have always been teased about taking too many of my kids- but I ignore the comments completely. Or laugh because within time they will have children of their own and say “wow, I now understand why Heather takes 10 million pictures of her kids each week.” Life is so short. Make it sweet, happy & fun! Hope you enjoy…Cade (4 years), Jax (2 years), Kolt (15 months) and Kellan (13 months), my sweet friend Alex’ son.
