Personal housekeeping first:
Playing catch up today in my office…so by the time the sun sets tonight I will officially have office hours! How exciting is that?!?! I have finally decided that it’s the best thing for my clients, my family and my sanity! I will be sure to post them very soon! Also, keep an eye on my facebook page for my spirng mini sessions! I should be posting those today as well! Now for the Stroupe Family’s precious new arrival!! Kristen and Justin have been together for almost as long as I can remember…they are seriously just perfect for one another. I have known Kristen for so long, that when I look back through childhood photos I ALWAYS come across a few of her! I have always adored her, and her kind soul! I had such an awesome time at their home meeting lil Mr. Hayden! He is a peanut and I just wanted to squeeze him! He looks to me like a lil man, and there is no mistaking him for a girl! (in my opinion!) Anyways, we laughed and just soaked up the morning with this lil man and I am so happy for their family of now 3! I am sure they are enjoying every single second of this precious time together!! Here’s a tiny peek at lil Hayden!! Enjoy!!

I got to start off 2014 with a sweet month old baby boy. I think that’s a fantastic way to bring in the new year!! Felix was having a growing day when I came to meet him, and all us Moms know what that means= LOTS and lots of eating! A baby’s got to do what a baby’s got to do. 😉 He was so darn cute though, and I love spending the afternoon with his sweet parents too! They even sent home a bag of amazing doggie treats for my 2 bullies…talk about hitting it out of the ballpark with my furry loves! Enjoy a peek at this beautiful, brand new little family!!!

Here it is…the end of 2013. What a awesome way to finish up the year…two lil dudes, a bunch of balloons and some celebrating!! (which obviously included some fabulous singing too!!) Stuart just turned ONE, and Jack just turned 3- what’s not to celebrate?! I had so much fun rolling around, dancing and singing with these guys- can’t wait to see them all again!!! Hope you enjoy!!!

The Gray Family were so wonderful to photograph. Little Landen is absolutely precious and loved like no other by his mommy and daddy! Their first baby Panda joined us too and made it even more fun!! Did I mention how much I love animals? Especially doggies!!! I can’t wait to see this family again for Landen’s 1st birthday session!! Hope you enjoy!!!
With this being my second to last 2013 post, I just have to say how blessed I feel for meeting this precious family and all the others this year. My journey with photography is so different (as I am learning) from so many other photographers…I continue to want to learn, grow and improve daily in my camera, lighting and post-processing skills but way more then all that I want to know people. I want to hear their stories, and share their love. I grow personally (selfishly) in this skill much more then I ever expected or dreamt. I judge less, accept more…respect each & every life so very much more than I did when I began. I am learning to balance my great love for people, wanting to please and being the wife, mother and woman I am hoping to be. It isn’t as easy as one would expect. I appreciate all of you supporting me, and trusting in me. Thank you. xo

Lauren, her family and I go way back. I mean WAYYYYYY back. Like we were small children. yes, that far back. And yes, I have not moved that far from where I originally started. Which makes my moments with her and her new little muffin even more special. Tim is the perfect addition to Lauren. They really are beautiful together. And then there was Chloe. GORGEOUS GORGEOUS baby girl. (not that I wouldn’t have expected that though with 2 gorgeous parents) Chloe is one of the most beautiful newborn babies I’ve ever seen. Plus, she was a superstar and slept almost the entire shoot. I am so blessed to have been trusted enough to capture such a special time in their lives! I hope you enjoy a few teasers…some of my favs are being held hostage from the public and family for future fun!!

I loved meeting the brand new Sheedy family of three, and capturing their perfect lil bundle- Edith!! And just like most of the newborns, Edith decided to have her first big day of NOT wanting to sleep when I arrived. 🙂 Luckily after some sweet love, full belly & warmth she could no longer fight it, and passed out perfectly for us! Another gorgeous session is about to fill your hearts…The Bandy Family added a beautiful new little girl to their family, precious Remington. Remi was 6 days brand new when I finally got to meet her perfect little self. Meredith has been a sweet friend of mine since college {yes, lots of awesome & crazy memories attached with us!} and I just met Kirk for the first time when we did our session. Kirk is awesome. And seriously a perfect Daddy of all girls! It takes a special man to deal with all us women! They were so laid back and easy to photograph! We laughed at plenty of “outtakes” involving newborn bodily functions (typical), and big sister’s Peyton and Maddi were the best helpers EVER! I loved our time together…hope you enjoy their sweet moments as a new family!!!
