First and foremost- we are wrapping up Sophia’s 1st year sessions. Bittersweet. I cannot even believe how quickly this year has passed and how much Sophia has changed. I’m so glad we did these photos in some gorgeous blooming trees because it’s a great representation of Sophia. She is stunningly beautiful, sweet as they come and truly a joy to be around at all times. I know her parents feel beyond blessed to have her and her sister & brother. On that note, we decided it would be a great time to capture spring with all their kiddos…and we did exactly that. Our session was more fun than anything. The kids climbed trees, raced, sword fought with branches, and found all kinds of fun. Mia, Anthony and Sophia are all absolutely gorgeous children. So blessed.

A few weeks ago I met the adorable Jessica, she was referred to me through a friend to do her family photos of her new lil nugget and her tiny lil tot man— it went perfectly. Her family is precious and we had such a fun time romping and rolling around their yard and home. A week later she called and asked me to try to make it work for another session in another week…her sweet sister was coming in town with her family. So, I was blessed to photograph Jessica and her family twice in a few weeks time—it was fantastic. I’m pretty sure if she lived closer, we’d be having wine daily and letting our lil boys frolic. Jessica’s sister, Tiffany, and her sweet family were just as wonderful. They made my “job” {well, if you want to call it that} very easy. They played and I captured every second. They have 2 lil girls that are behaved so perfectly and showed off their fun personalities at the same time. I am so glad we got lots of sparkly shots of the 4 cousins together!! Enjoy!!

Love this precious family, and couldn’t be any more excited for their newest addition– beautiful Blakeley! She joins her two gorgeous big sisters into this world of sparkly jewels, dress up, princess parties, ruffles, fluffy stuffed animals, singing, endless laughter and most importantly LOVE! Blakeley is such a teeny tiny peanut, and she was an angel for our whole session! Leah and Justin are incredible parents, and I know this little one will be loved eternally. They are so blessed with these perfect little girls…and I am 100% sure there will never be a dull moment in their home! Enjoy their peek…

The Knoop Family met me super early for a fabulous morning session, after being the most patient and wonderful family ever- waiting on a spot for me to squeeze them in for their session. Finally, we made it work and I am so thankful. Beautiful family, and their sweet girls have so much personality…I could’ve listened to them chat and play all day. You can tell these girls are very fortunate to have such loving parents, and that equals a calm and laid back family session! love it! Siblings getting along and playing together is such a precious blessing. Enjoy!!

Well my title for this session is off a little bit…but this is how I remember these pretty ladies- as the Knox girls!! I grew up with Ashley and Lauren– and now they’re married and Ashley has a little pumpkin man, baby Kellen (6 months). Their gorgeous mom hasn’t aged a day since we first met, and as you’ll be able to see- her daughter’s got that same beauty as well!! We had a blast running around the fields and cracking jokes. Good luck figuring out which one is Susan, their pretty Mom…she blends in like a 28 year old!!! Enjoy!!!

I love that we’re nearing the end of September and it is still hot during the day and cool in the night- makes for wonderful temps for families. (and myself!) The Minners are such a wonderful family, and I absolutely love being able to introduce families to a different style of family photography. This is more common than not, a lot of my families are use to going to a studio for their family portraits (like the Minner Family) so changing it up and bringing them outside for some fun will get them a totally different look. Obviously I’m biased but I think moments captured being real represent this time in our lives better than a still shot with a backdrop. 🙂 Stacey and Jonathan are amazing parents and I hope their first experience with this was a good one. I loved watching all the fun interaction between all four of their blondies!! Hope you enjoy–

Where do I begin with these fun three…Leslie and I go way back, the fun/wild college days to be exact. She has always been the adorably spunky red head- so fun. She is now a photographer herself and an amazing one at that! It was such a HUGE compliment to have another photographer ask to me to photograph her and her family…possibly the greatest compliment of all. Dana and Alex live in Kentucky but came in town for a visit (Dana and Leslie are sisters!)…I got to capture lots of fun memories of these three beauties- it was an absolute blast. Lots of crickets, sweat, and laughter- hope you enjoy their peek!
