The Ray Family is fabulous. period. I love their beautiful, large family. All 5 of their kiddos were so incredibly behaved…even after they opened up and relaxed. They are such a joy to photograph and have such a deep love for one another. This Mom & Dad are doing something right! 🙂 I hope to see them all again soon…and I am sure I did quite the abdominal workout that evening from all the laughing!! Enjoy their peek!!!

What man enjoys giving up his football Sunday for family photos??? Yep, I hear crickets. No one that I know. So I knew when we scheduled a morning session for the Mayes Family it couldn’t last hours and hours. 🙂 Robert and Megan were awesome. And their new little man, Cam ROCKED it. I couldn’t believe how perfect and tiny he was for being a month old already. I had hopes of getting a few “newborn” shots of him, but assumed he would be too old to squish up into gooey perfection for us. I was wrong…being a month early, gave us an extra month of newborn shots! YAY! I loved hanging out with the Mayes’ and cuddling their precious Cam.

Oh sweet Lyla…her mommy and daddy so badly wanted her to sleep for her newborn session, but already knew before we started that if she had other plans then she would win. 🙂 She won. She has been putting her foot down since in the womb. She does it her way. End of story. And that sometimes happens with newborns, so we go to plan B…capture them happy and wide awake. We made it work and we had a gorgeous sunset to top it off! I loved spending my evening with the Alexander’s beautiful new addition…hope you enjoy!!

I truly adore working outdoors, if I had to work in a studio or an office all day every day I would be heartbroken. It makes me so excited to hear from a new mom that she wants to have her baby’s newborn photos taken outside! I met the Young family a few weeks ago, and their tiny new addition, Alastair. Oh my-he stole my heart when I saw him. It was immediate. I think it was his size at first. He was barely visible in his car seat. The Young’s found out at their 18 week ultrasound that their little angel would be born with a Cleft Lip, so they were prepared when he entered this crazy world. It was awesome learning about his cleft lip first hand, and hearing that in a short 3 months he would have a big surgery to fix it. I am so glad we captured Alastair before his surgery, so he can look back one day on these images and realize how handsome and special he really is. I enjoyed every moment with all of them, and we hung out and captured their love until the sun was completely gone.

This summer has been so so busy with amazing families and so many fun memories captured forever…but I have been working so many hours trying to get everyone their images as quickly as possible that I haven’t spent my normal amount of time on email, facebook updates and blogging. oops. I decided to stop stressing about all the small stuff and try to do a quick blog post with some images from a few August sessions that I haven’t yet blogged. I may have been a lil extra excited to meet Miss Ellie Claire, mainly because I had already been sucked in by her cuteness through the photos I had seen of her, and well, her parents are just gorgeous! Ellie Claire is 6 weeks and so cuddly and perfect. Emily and Jacob had two fur babies before they brought this lil princess into the world, so she came with 2 built in body guards…or best buddies. Ellie’s nursery is gorgeous and I have a great feeling that Miss Ellie will be loved and cherished to the max. Hope you enjoy their special moments…

I had such a wonderful morning with the Jakielski Family…meeting their newest addition, little Turner and their adorable doggies as well. Michael and Shannon welcomed their first little guy into the world almost 3 weeks before I got to meet him…so I was a tad nervous that he wouldn’t want to squish up like a brand new muffin- but to our surprise he was ready and willing. Their home is absolutely gorgeous…and had some of the coolest designs I’d ever seen. I loved all their fun colors and just the overall flow of their home. I have a slight love for textures, and their home fulfilled my texture craving for the day for sure! 🙂 They are the sweetest family and hopelessly in love with their lil Turner! (even their doggies) I hope you enjoy a few images from their session!

A family near and dear to my heart added another beautiful little girl to their growing family just recently…and I had been counting down the days to finally meet her! I love surprises, and none of us knew if this little muffin was a girl or a boy until she entered this world- so fun!! Little Miss Ellie is just perfect! She reminds me of her big sister, Mary Caroline. Since Christy and Trey didn’t do formal “newborn” photos with their first two little ones, they decided that it wouldn’t be fair to give little miss Ellie her own supermodel session either…so we captured the essence of their whole family. The kids are so excited to have a new sister…and that always makes me happy inside! And no, it is not normal to look this amazing after just delivering your 3rd baby- so don’t feel discouraged when you see how put together Christy is! 🙂 That’s just how Christy rolls…always pulled together perfectly and just as sweet as a peach. {yet another reason why we love her so much} The Williams Family truly radiate the love for each other that all families deserve to have…and those 3 little ones have a lifetime of fun and love ahead of them!! Linda, Brian and lil Boston are such a fun family to photograph. They are always ready to play with their cutie pie–which equals lots of happiness and tons of awesome pics! As usual I’ve had a hard time narrowing down all my favorites but I tried my best. Little Boston is almost two and FULL of personality. If I told her to do something or told her that I was going to come tickle her- she’d look straight at me, pointing a finger and say “no.” LOVE her and the lil diva inside!!! Hope you enjoy!!!
