What a fun love story this family has to tell to their children and grandchildren one day…
Ashley and Josh are going to be doubling the size of their family and love very soon, and I could not be any more excited for them. I have known Ashley a long time and I am over the moon for her, and her sweet babies. Josh is absolutely perfect for her. His son and daughter fit in so perfectly with her two kids. I have heard Ashley swoon over Josh for quite some time now, and you can see their love for each other and their children glowing as soon as you see them together. Makes my heart happy & full. I am so glad I got to capture some fun and beautiful new moments as a big, happy family for all of them! New images to decorate their happy home. 🙂
Oh, I forgot to mention the obvious…but my my aren’t they absolutely gorgeous?! All 6 of them could blow you away!!! Enjoy~~

The Beshears ROCK. I don’t even have to write this…you will all see it plain as day in their photos. I captured the real Beshears…and that makes my life happy. (hopefully theirs too) Kathy and Ben are perfect for each other and seriously their two handsome little men are edible. And to top it off they have awesome names…Nash & Benji-Grant 🙂

So, the good news is…I got to photograph an incredible family this past weekend. The bad news is…I had 5 others that are having to be rescheduled due to yet ANOTHER icky, rainy & cold weekend!!! Fingers crossed that tomorrow begins the new spring streak of sunshine, warm temps and happiness all around!!!
Oz, Kim and precious lil Eli (9 months old) were rocking the 40 and 50 degree temps early Saturday morning, and yes they were dressed for spring. duh. It should be warm, and it should be sunny. Spring sessions aren’t suppose to look like a spring in Antarctica…thus we have the colorful and springy Osborne Family. We laughed and hung out…I love my fun chats with new friends, and I know that is deep down the real reason behind this so called “talent” of mine. One day if I were to lose interest in people, their stories, their dreams, and their loves then I would most likely go back to only photographing my own children. But as most people know…I can’t stop talking and asking questions. or a better way of saying it- I love to talk and I love to be curious to learn everything about how & why people tick. The Osborne’s adore their main man Eli- and I fell in love with him as well. He does this awesome little nose curl currently…and I want his Mommy & Daddy to remember it forever. I hope I captured the true beauty of this sweet sweet family!

I am beyond blessed to be a part of the Howard Family’s world. I am thankful I call each one of them my friend. Lindsay and Matt are so dear. I didn’t want to leave after we finished honestly…but for one, Matt ran out of beer and for two, he was starving- so they had to leave. But I am pretty sure we could have chatted the night away watching the sun set out in the fields. Good times for sure. They have two absolutely gorgeous little girls. Ella is 5 and glows with happiness and love. She has the kindest soul. I adore her. Kate just turned 3 and is just as beautiful. Her blonde hair and blue eyes melt me- and has a spice to her that will wrap anyone around her finger. The girls are precious together…always helping one another and doing what sisters are truly meant to do for each other. Another fun addition to the family, is 10 month old Amos- their black lab puppy. He is a charmer. I cannot find one bad photo from all of their images…not one. So I hope you enjoy as much as I know Lindsay and Matt will 🙂

First and foremost- we are wrapping up Sophia’s 1st year sessions. Bittersweet. I cannot even believe how quickly this year has passed and how much Sophia has changed. I’m so glad we did these photos in some gorgeous blooming trees because it’s a great representation of Sophia. She is stunningly beautiful, sweet as they come and truly a joy to be around at all times. I know her parents feel beyond blessed to have her and her sister & brother. On that note, we decided it would be a great time to capture spring with all their kiddos…and we did exactly that. Our session was more fun than anything. The kids climbed trees, raced, sword fought with branches, and found all kinds of fun. Mia, Anthony and Sophia are all absolutely gorgeous children. So blessed.

Obviously, I’ve been so rushed posting these sessions from the past week that I am forgetting things!! I have been trying to keep my posts brief until after the holidays due to the crazy amounts of time I’m working currently editing- but didn’t mean to skip over a family completely. (classic mom brain)
The Boerner Family have two little cutie pies that are on the go and super fun and active…we had a great time running around the gardens and playing! We had many laughs about parking issues and then an accidental stick to the face…but they were all troopers! Hope you enjoy!!!

I love that I have been photographing the Shait family long enough to go through so many special times in their lives…like this one currently–a baby BOY is on his way!!! Big Sis Havens will be the perfect partner in crime for this new little man. Havens is my buddy and is in the “hopelessly in love with her Daddy” stage. Love meeting new people…but love it even more when they’re awesome and super laid back! Lisa called me a week ago and hoped I could squeeze her daughter in for some “late” senior photos before she left for college this upcoming weekend–we made it happen! I’m also a believer in the more kids you have, the more laid back and easy going you are. 🙂 Justine and I hung out, chatted and became friends within a few minutes. She’s off to NC State in less than 4 days and I’m quite certain she will have the time of her life! PLUS, she turns 18 in just a few days~ so we’ll call this her 18 year old super model photo shoot! 🙂 Loved our time together and we finished up right as the sky let out! Hope you enjoy her peek!!

Where do I begin with these fun three…Leslie and I go way back, the fun/wild college days to be exact. She has always been the adorably spunky red head- so fun. She is now a photographer herself and an amazing one at that! It was such a HUGE compliment to have another photographer ask to me to photograph her and her family…possibly the greatest compliment of all. Dana and Alex live in Kentucky but came in town for a visit (Dana and Leslie are sisters!)…I got to capture lots of fun memories of these three beauties- it was an absolute blast.
