We finally made our schedules work together to fit in a quick 3 month session for little Keira and her sweet family. Plus, I got to see Miss Lola on her preschool graduation day to top it off!! I miss seeing this family, but I am so grateful to have them in my life! Lola is turning 5 this month, Liam is 2 and baby Keira is 3 months now! Beautiful family and I hope you enjoy their peek!!!

I absolutely felt blessed to have captured this fabulous family’s sweet moments recently. The Rhyne Family actually won my session in a silent auction at the Yvette W. Ferris Foundation last year- so I know this session meant even more than the normal family session. Every penny went to a fantastic cause. Yvette is another extraordinary client of mine, not to mention inspirational on so many levels. If you’d like to know more about her foundation please visit http://www.ywff.org.
Back to the Rhyne’s…they were a blast to shoot. We laughed deep belly laughs and chatted non-stop. Davis and Katie are gorgeous blondies- that are just as well mannered and loving as they are beautiful. In the end, while saying goodbyes- Katie went into her car and came back with a little note that said “I love U” and on the other side it said “I love U a lot lot lot lot”. She made my week. I love what I do. I hope you enjoy their moments!!
PS- they couldn’t have picked a more perfect setting either. spectacular farm. 🙂

I am desperately trying to catch back up with all my blog entries…so bare with me on all these short write ups. I could talk about every session for hours, but I will keep it short and sweet for now! 🙂
Gianna (age 4) and Graham (these were taken 2 days before his 1st birthday!) were such happy and fun kiddos! Gianna wanted to dance and play and it was just a plus that her little brother got to come along as her partner too. They were so fun, beautiful and seriously full of life. I love real emotions, and children do not hide theirs at all. 🙂 Hope you enjoy!!

I am so happy that I finally got to see the happy & healthy Stella…our first session, at 3 months old, was rough for the lil peanut. Stella was a rockstar this time and happy as a little clam. She is such a cutie pie and her big baby blues suck you in!! I am so grateful that Meghan allows me to capture her precious stages and makes the hike up from Columbia, SC as well. I love watching babies grow up and change in front of my lens!! Hope you enjoy!!!

The Fallon Family invited me over to their family home up in Mooresville for a gorgeous morning session with their beautiful family. I enjoyed meeting them and capturing their precious little ones! Wyatt is a big boy but is only 8 months and Macy is 4! We had a great time and they were angels!! Enjoy!!

Linda, Brian and lil Boston are such a fun family to photograph. They are always ready to play with their cutie pie–which equals lots of happiness and tons of awesome pics! As usual I’ve had a hard time narrowing down all my favorites but I tried my best. Little Boston is almost two and FULL of personality. If I told her to do something or told her that I was going to come tickle her- she’d look straight at me, pointing a finger and say “no.” LOVE her and the lil diva inside!!! Hope you enjoy!!!

Ok I’m SLIGHTLY behind on all my bloggie stuff…maybe just a month or so. oops. But the world of kiddies, vacations, friends, gorgeous clients, champagne and endless photographs has held me hostage!! I’m slowly recovering and trying to plant my feet back in reality. (well, until next week…when I leave for my Clearwater beach Florida birthday girl’s trip!) What a fantastically blessed May and June this has been so far! Thank you all for your patience. {although, I would say it benefits all of you as well…I’m much more fun when well-rested!}
and speaking of blessed–The Moore Family was able to take a little getaway as well a few weeks back and met me at the beach for a fun sunset session! This was my first time meeting Carrie, David and their gorgeous little girl Caroline. We laughed and chatted the evening away…just the way I love to live. Ants decided to take over every inch of dry land though…so that made for a hysterical game of dodge the ant. I love how real their family is, and I can’t wait to see them again soon! We ended the night with a walk back to our house and found my crazy husband and oldest son standing on the roof- 3 stories high. I’m pretty sure the Moore’s think we are a crazy family!
I ended my night on the roof with 2 of my 4 men…watching the most gorgeous sunset and perfect stark white moon over the ocean. I had my iphone with me so we grabbed a few fun shots from the roof–I’ll post one of those as well. 🙂
Hope you enjoy all the amazing beach fun!!

Another fun family session went down before we left for the beach…the Johnson family! I mainly focused on the center of their world, one year old Liam! He was hysterical. I absolutely love this age, the blonde hair and blue eyes didn’t hurt either. 😉 He made some fabulous faces and soon his parents will miss those funny faces! Liam and his parents were in town visiting his uncle and aunt- and Grandma came too! We had fun playing by the water on a gorgeous lake norman evening. Hope you enjoy…

The Ortiz Family gets the cool honor of being my very first family with quadruplets! I am still in awe of how amazing Gabe and Niury are as parents. I cannot even wrap my head around 4 newborns wanting to eat, all at the exact same time. This dear family has raised two girls (Olivia & Juliana) and two boys (Aiden & Gabriel) to be wonderful little five year olds! Their family makes my top three strongest family list for sure! Not just for raising 4 awesome little kiddos but beginning the hardest fight of their lives here in the last month. Gabe had just finished his first chemo treatment right before our session. What a strong man, and the ultimate role model for his children. He will win.
One of my shots from their session brought me to tears instantly. I was sitting in my car going through the images and deleting all the “bad” shots, when I crossed by a shot that a sunbeam clearly was coming from heaven and directly going on Gabe’s head. I have never in all my 10 million + images have ever seen this. What a moment.
I am so grateful to have spent my evening learning all about the Ortiz family…and each of their fun personalities! We had such a great time playing on the farm…feeding donkeys and looking for fish! I hope I captured the true essence of their sweet family! I have had such an incredible week of inspiration. Thank you to all of you.
Enjoy…
