These two love birds are going to blow you away. I just needed to preface with that. Justin and Oxana are not only beautiful but so amazingly sweet and so loving. I could’ve uploaded every single photo from my camera and directly posted them on here for you to enjoy…there really was no editing needed. Their baby girl was due any day- and most women dream to be that gorgeous even at just 6 months into the pregnancy. I still cannot believe that Oxana was 39 weeks! WOW!! Their love and beauty inspires me. Can you even imagine how beautiful their little girl will be? I can’t wait to meet her very soon!! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do…

I love when I walk into a family’s home and instantly feel like I was meant to be there, and we just click. Allie and Rob did just that. I think I laughed for almost 2 hours straight. It was great. I had just met them, and Allie’s adorable parents…but somehow felt like I had known them forever. This makes my job so much easier. Allie is so laid back and relaxed, and their handsome little man, Trip will grow up seeing that as well. Trip was around 7 weeks old when we did his session, and he was such a great sport! I hope you can see their sweet love in the few images I show you all…enjoy!

Another beautiful family is blessed with a gorgeous & healthy baby boy!! I am so blessed to have been able to capture such a special time of their lives for them! Stephanie and James welcomed their little man Jackson to this world earlier this month and they seem to have mastered this “baby” stuff already! It has to help that he is so so cute! I was so happy to get to see the Schubert Family again, and they welcomed me so kindly into their beautiful home. Scott and Egle have the most precious little girl Gabi- and we were celebrating her first birthday! It was amazing to see the change in Gabi from the minute I walked in the door to the end when I was leaving. She was super shy to start and really opened up as time went by. She danced the moment she heard a good tune…and when I say “good” I mean- an awesome pop song that we all would love as well. 🙂 I loved their carefree way of life. We all just hung out in their home enjoying some family time…and just being real. No put on poses or shows. This is what it’s all about with family photography in my eyes!! I hope you enjoy a few of their beautiful photos!!

After months of waiting…we FINALLY got to celebrate this beautiful baby bump!!! CJ contacted me right after they found out they were expecting and I was so so excited to see her! They are expecting their first baby in April, and it’s a girl! Baby Brooklyn is coming into a world with so much love for her, and how could that not warm your heart?! CJ and Ryan had to share the spotlight with their first baby, Marlon as well- their sweet dog! We had such a great time playing, laughing and just hanging out chatting…the time flew by! I could post 50 more images from their session and still not feel like I showed you all of my favorites! I hope you enjoy their growing love…and get excited to see their newborn baby girl in April! 🙂

One of my bestest girlfriend’s little man Jax just turned ONE, and of course we had to photograph this special time!! I love how much Natalie adores her babies. Not really sure if there is a way to even begin to explain it, but trust me- she loves them endlessly. Due to this crazy 2014 weather, we chose to use a friend’s studio instead of risking the 28 degree cold. Smart move, but I am really not made for studios. Keeping kids in one spot and posed is impossible in my opinion- but we managed! And Jax couldn’t have looked any cuter. He is wearing adorable outfits from RuffleButts & RuggedButts, and he is also one of their precious models for their Spring 2014 clothing lines! {which should be releasing soon!} I hope!! YAY!! The Walsh Family

After months and months of trying to get our schedules to match up, I FINALLY got the precious Walsh family in front of my camera! Leslie and I had been back and forth way too many times to count, she deserves a medal. But of course we pick a bitter cold day to meet, and of course things didn’t go as planned. {do they ever?!} Their handsome little 4 year old Sutton wanted nothing to do with me or my crazy antics. After dancing, singing & lots of ridiculous jokes, I gave up. In all my years of photographing kids he’s the very 1st kiddo to defeat me. He won. He was not in the mood for playing or photos, and quite honestly it was so frigid out I am surprised that any of us lasted as long as we did. Hadley, his big sister was the sweetest little princess from start to finish. I think she enjoyed the extra love from mommy & daddy! We all have been here before- which makes me appreciate these images so much. We are always in new stages with children, and they’re constantly changing. Capture it while you can. Hope you enjoy!!!

I got to start off 2014 with a sweet month old baby boy. I think that’s a fantastic way to bring in the new year!! Felix was having a growing day when I came to meet him, and all us Moms know what that means= LOTS and lots of eating! A baby’s got to do what a baby’s got to do. 😉 He was so darn cute though, and I love spending the afternoon with his sweet parents too! They even sent home a bag of amazing doggie treats for my 2 bullies…talk about hitting it out of the ballpark with my furry loves! Enjoy a peek at this beautiful, brand new little family!!!

Here it is…the end of 2013. What a awesome way to finish up the year…two lil dudes, a bunch of balloons and some celebrating!! (which obviously included some fabulous singing too!!) Stuart just turned ONE, and Jack just turned 3- what’s not to celebrate?! I had so much fun rolling around, dancing and singing with these guys- can’t wait to see them all again!!! Hope you enjoy!!!

Shocker- we are 4 days in to 2014 and I haven’t completed my blogging for 2013 yet. (as I had planned) The goal was to finish up with the final 3 or 4 sessions and have them all posted by midnight when the ball dropped. The ball dropped, and I dropped the ball too because I chose my boys instead. I let my little guys stay up until midnight and dance with sparklers with their best friends and mine too. I hope no one really minds…because we are never promised tomorrow, or another year. Life is so precious. So here I sit, excited to finally blog my last few entries for 2013 and start posting all my fabulous new sessions in 2014! Happy New Year friends!!! Cheers to a healthy, happy, loving and blessed 2014!!!
Now for the Romano Family…
My year is not complete without photographing this wonderful family. I have captured their family’s love since the beginning. Angela and Mark are magnetic. They pull you in as much as they pull each other in. My heart grows larger when I am around them. They are real. They are strong. Their love endures all. I am so blessed to call them our dear friends. I survived this fall because of these two. Angela was there being my children’s other mom all hours of the day and night. (being injured with 3 boys wasn’t easy for me) I will never be able to thank her enough. I could bubble over for days and days about these two, but I must move on to their vibrant little boys!
Marek: this gorgeous 5 1/2 year old rockstar has a heart as big as Mother Teresa. He pushes every single button and person to the limit (with insane energy for days), but oddly enough it makes you love him even more. He has the fashion and style of a GQ model. I am still clueless on where this comes from. “Heather, you look beautiful, and I love your lipstick color.”- – what other five year old says this? Watch out parents…he will have all your little ladies under his love spell soon enough!!
Maddox: sweet, calm and HILARIOUS (without knowing it) 3 1/2 years old dude. Maddox wants to dance to his own beat, and relax without anyone bugging him. He has an old soul, and just goes with the flow. (most of the time) You can’t help but love Maddox too. His adorable quirks make you want to squeeze him tightly. He is the one to bring you a blanket when you are cold, and the first one to jump into your lap to snuggle every time. Love him!!
As you can probably tell- this family is very special to me, and I am so thankful for them! Their images capture them so perfectly…they truly love this much, and play this much, so I hope everyone can see what I see. And I wish that all of you get to experience a friendship this blessed in 2014 if you haven’t already!!!
