The Hill family welcomed their second little bundle of joy into this world only a short week ago, and I can only imagine (from my own past experiences) how chaotic and amazing it is! I am constantly reminded of how much I don’t miss those sleepless nights but also reminded of how precious time really is. I am so blessed to be able to join in on a family’s special time right after a new one has been born. Carson is the typical 2 year old boy…trucks and singing, full of curiosity and ready to wear out his parents every moment of the day! He is going to be one fantastic big brother, and little Annabelle will learn early how to keep up with her handsome older brother! We had a fun morning hanging out and capturing their new world in photos. I am so grateful to have met the Hill Family! Enjoy!!

Finally, I’m catching up a little on all my back logged sessions and emails! 🙂 YAY!!!

now, on to this irresistibly cute family….
I have been so excited for a while to finally get my hands on this little Stella…I watched through facebook her homecoming from the hospital and her weekly snapshots. Each one a little more hair, a new bow and a more precious little girl– if that’s possible. Meghan and her husband Micheal live in Columbia, SC so I am even more honored to be able to capture their new little family as it grows! Meghan and I went to high school together, so I knew we would have fun! The sad news is…Stella had just started her very first little sickness, and smiles were not so easy to come by. (as they are normally!) Magically towards the end we got her excited and she beamed up at us for a few moments! YAY! We did have the most amazing weather, beautiful sun beams to match this beautiful family! Enjoy!!!

A few weeks ago I met the adorable Jessica, she was referred to me through a friend to do her family photos of her new lil nugget and her tiny lil tot man— it went perfectly. Her family is precious and we had such a fun time romping and rolling around their yard and home. A week later she called and asked me to try to make it work for another session in another week…her sweet sister was coming in town with her family. So, I was blessed to photograph Jessica and her family twice in a few weeks time—it was fantastic. I’m pretty sure if she lived closer, we’d be having wine daily and letting our lil boys frolic. Jessica’s sister, Tiffany, and her sweet family were just as wonderful. They made my “job” {well, if you want to call it that} very easy. They played and I captured every second. They have 2 lil girls that are behaved so perfectly and showed off their fun personalities at the same time. I am so glad we got lots of sparkly shots of the 4 cousins together!! Enjoy!!

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this little peanut! Baby Walt is so tiny and precious. Oh, and so loved. And his gorgeous big sister is super excited…she danced, sang and kept a close watch on her new lil buddy. Bri and Matt are so happy to have their new addition to their family…and I just know the chaos of being parents has just begun! Not to mention the fact that Matt is back in school (full time) and working full time as well. hello busy family. I am so glad I got to enjoy an afternoon with these precious people…and cannot wait to watch their love continue to grow as a family of four! Enjoy their beauty and their handsome addition, Mr. Walt.

I am so lucky to have met yet another incredible family last weekend, the Valentine Family. {such a perfect name for this exciting Valentine’s day!} Jessica, Brandon and lil William welcomed a new member to their family about a month ago- John David. William and I became best buds by the end of my session, and I could easily slip him into my purse and steal him away to my home! Such a fun family with lots of happy times ahead with these 2 handsome little boys! Hope you enjoy…

Well friends, this is it for 2012…my final session (or so I think, currently). I have tried cutting myself off prior to the 16th of December, but with no luck. But I am so glad I hadn’t stopped yet, this lil Maleena rocked her first photoshoot. She slept like an angel and her big brother and sister got an extra chance to snuggle her. She is 12 days new and is absolutely perfect!!! I had such a great time with her and her family…and I am so happy for them! Welcome to the world of a family of 5!! Enjoy!

The Monastra Kiddies

I am so glad I was able to squeeze in the Monastra family before Christmas this year…I was worried we were running out of time!! They have 4 beautiful children and I was so happy to get to hang out with them for the afternoon! Jason (the oldest) is close to that “I’m too cool to smile” age but handsome, Taylor (the older daughter) is beautiful and just glows, Evan (the youngest son) is just precious…I could pinch him and lil miss Maggie is their gorgeous little 4 month old peanut, who steals the show—as lil princess babies should. 🙂 Hope you enjoy!!

Shelby, NC Family & Group Photography
I enjoyed an afternoon at Bridges BBQ in Shelby, NC before we started our awesome session in downtown Shelby a few days ago…and I am sure it was worth every calorie and every moment in the cold. Great BBQ (hushpuppies & sweet tea too), and awesome photos of a wonderful family. I could’ve stayed there for 10 days and had new, cool locations to shoot the whole time! I would never get bored there! Hillary has the sweetest lil 6 month, Braxton and he was such a trooper to party in the cold with us. We captured her whole family…including her mom and dad & her sister and brother-in-law. We laughed and froze…hope you enjoy!!
