Oh I was so excited to get my hands on this tiny little muffin…little Miss Maggie! One week brand new and this little princess already melts everyone that sees her! You can feel the love from the moment you walk into their warm home and even more when you see her beautiful Mommy, Beth snuggle her. Her perfect thin fingers and baby doll face…oh I can’t wait to watch her grow!! Maggie has two older brothers and an older sister to watch over her and protect her through life, it makes my heart happy. Maggie did not want to be tightly balled up or posed in any way, shape or form. She was very content with her arms and legs completely stretched out, I guess she was tired of being squished in her lil mommy! Loved spending the morning with such a wonderful family, hope you enjoy their peek!

The Martin’s are wonderful friends of mine and their oldest daughter is my oldest son’s angelic girlfriend. They met in their 2 year old preschool class and have been in puppy love ever since. Their family moved to Kansas a year and a half ago and finally came back for a long visit…we were all excited! I am so happy to be able to share of few photos of their beautiful family…I can’t imagine having three little princesses, but they are pros at it! Hope you enjoy…

I am so behind on my blog posts this week– I apologize!! It’s been a whirlwind week with tons of sessions and editing…and my three wild boys have been non-stop as well!
Loved meeting the Kugler Family! They made the trek up to the lake area from the other side of the city, lake Wylie. Petyon (2) gave made me work to break through to her silly side, and sweet Griffin (1) instantly smiled from ear to ear! We played, picked grapes off the vines and hunted for “farm cats” as Peyton would say! At the end of our session we let Griffin have his way with an awesome smash cake!! First birthdays are so much fun and make for fabulous, messy pictures!! Hope you enjoy their sneak peek…

This has been a busy month for babies…so many sweet lovebugs coming into this world. And oddly enough, all girls! Kristy and Ricky had their first little one a few weeks early and she is just precious. Light colored hair and just tiny. The Hetzel family have two cutie pies, Johnny (3 years old) and Sienna (9 months) and we had a good time playing in the gardens this past weekend! Johnny’s fun personality popped out about halfway through…and I had a blast capturing it from that point on! I’m pretty sure it’s a rainforest in these gardens because the moment we walk into them the sweat starts pouring. Maybe I should start carrying around a portable fan. 🙂 Hope you enjoy their peek…

I was so fortunate to be able to celebrate Gillian’s big FIRST birthday with her and her wonderful family this past weekend! I can’t believe it’s already been a year since I photographed her curled up in a little snuggle ball. After weeks and weeks of chatting back and forth on the phone, I finally got to meet this sweet Kelley, and put a face with her name. I knew she had to be a patient lady to have to hear my screaming kids in the background almost every time we chatted. Bless. Kelley and Brandon have two stunning little princesses- Karsyn and Presley. I’m pretty sure I would have a fourth baby if God promised me it would be Karsyn…she made me smile through all the sweat! 🙂 Kelley’s sister Kim and her husband Alan are so adorable too. Their 13 week old little man, Easton has the best skin and blue eyes! Kelley & Kim’s parents joined us and made it a complete Cherry gang. Had an awesome time and hope you enjoy their peek…

Sessions like these make me all warm and fuzzy inside…beautiful sunshine, a gorgeous backdrop of lake norman (and the exact spot Ginny & Woody said “I DO”), and an adorable family!!! The best part is Abigail is stunning and loves my camera! We played and poured sweat but it was all for a great result! Their session almost needed no editing what-so-ever! Abigail is almost 6 months and is precious. So precious that I could have taken her home and added her to our zoo of boys!!! Hope you enjoy their peek…

The Berg’s have a very active little boy…in my mind that’s a wonderful thing. He is curious about the world in front of him and doesn’t want to sit still for long. I had fun running through or dodging sprinklers trying to keep up with this little toddler! His sweet mom has the patience of a saint and I couldn’t believe she is a stay at home mommy! I stay at home with my three wild men, and I swear I wear a sign on my forehead that says “HI, I’m a crazy stay at home mom…please don’t test my patience, because I have none.” We had fun playing around and I know we all sweat enough to lose a few pounds! As I climbed into my car last night I called Cam & Mindy and said “it’s storming here- shall we still try to make our session happen?”- the immediate answer was YES, it’s clear and sunny here. So, off I went and I am pretty sure I drove in the eye of the storm the entire 50 minute trip. I couldn’t believe it was sunny where we were meeting…but as I got closer I could see the perfect circle of clear blue skies up ahead of me. Right before I arrived the rain closed in and started a huge downpour…but to make a long story short- we stuck to our plan and ended up doing our photos anyway. Breaks of sunlight and drops of rain here and there added to the beauty of this botanical garden and adorable family. Cam & Mindy adore their precious little Stella. She is two and that is exactly the stage she is in…”I do it” stage! (One of my favorites actually…well, for photography!) We had fun and made it work, hope you enjoy their peek!
