Shelby, NC Family & Group Photography
I enjoyed an afternoon at Bridges BBQ in Shelby, NC before we started our awesome session in downtown Shelby a few days ago…and I am sure it was worth every calorie and every moment in the cold. Great BBQ (hushpuppies & sweet tea too), and awesome photos of a wonderful family. I could’ve stayed there for 10 days and had new, cool locations to shoot the whole time! I would never get bored there! Hillary has the sweetest lil 6 month, Braxton and he was such a trooper to party in the cold with us. We captured her whole family…including her mom and dad & her sister and brother-in-law. We laughed and froze…hope you enjoy!!

The Knoop Family met me super early for a fabulous morning session, after being the most patient and wonderful family ever- waiting on a spot for me to squeeze them in for their session. Finally, we made it work and I am so thankful. Beautiful family, and their sweet girls have so much personality…I could’ve listened to them chat and play all day. You can tell these girls are very fortunate to have such loving parents, and that equals a calm and laid back family session! love it! Siblings getting along and playing together is such a precious blessing. Enjoy!!

Loved photographing sweet Taylor- plus she is so beautiful inside and out, so it made my job extra fabulous! 🙂 Her senior pics are fantastic, if only I would’ve had my senior pics done somewhere other than the school drama classroom, geez. Hope you enjoy!!
ps- did I mention Taylor’s eye are like crystals? they are by far the most piercing blue eyes I’ve ever photographed. unreal.

Ashley and Jay have been enjoying their baby Hank- and I cannot believe he is already 8 months old. The last time I saw him he was a week old and tiny…now, he is the complete opposite. We are going to start having to do his photos more often so he gets use to my giant black camera in his face- he was not a fan. 🙂 This kid is on the course of being a pro bowler NFL lineman….kid you not. And I got one of my top fav pictures of all time of him…it can seriously brighten up anyone’s day!! Hope you enjoy!!

I am so excited for Stephanie and Stephen…they have such a cool story from when they met and how they’ve stayed together over the years, and are honestly just 2 incredible people. They picked a spot that I have used a couple times recently, and I actually think it’s a great spot for engagement photos—but I’m pretty sure every photographer in town was there that night as well. (which most people know, that’s why I like to go to private/deserted locations) I enjoy my time hanging out one on one with my clients…laughing and relaxing, plus going at our own pace. We had to dodge a crazy bride in a NEON red dress, hanging out of her NEON red car’s sunroof— which is 100% a first for me. 🙂 Although we were all freezing, we ended having a blast and laughing our frozen booties off. They are going to have a gorgeous wedding and a lifetime of sweet love….enjoy their beautiful moments.

I love this family…beautiful people inside and out. So happy I was able to capture a few fabulous photos of their family all together! Nila and Chad are such wonderful people and have hearts of gold. We are blessed to have them in our lives, no doubt. Their lil men aren’t so little anymore…and get more handsome & talented with every day that passes. Will Grier is flying high with his football love, Nash Grier is so funny and Hayes is beyond sweet! Big Red is their rockstar “puppy” and is like child #4! I’m sure you can see their beauty inside and out in these pics…enjoy!!

The Soliday family is so so sweet!! We met in Belmont and I had a fabulous time hanging out with their adorable kiddies all over the town! Belmont has so much character and just makes everyone feel all warm & fuzzy…kind of like home. Carson & Joshua get along so well and their Mom & Dad are still so in love…these kinds of families bring me such joy! They played and goofed off at times…making memories for their walls forever! Just wanted to let everyone know how thankful I am to have all of you in my life…I am so blessed to still be able to do what I love and be a mommy at the same time. You all make every day special and remind me daily how precious life really is. Moments with loved ones are all we truly have and tomorrow those moments are just memories, so I am grateful I try to capture as many as I can & freeze them on film. 🙂
We have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and I thought I would post a few photos of our day! Our boys had the best time ever collecting honey from my aunt & uncle’s bees—and they learned so much while doing it! (ps- they now ask to put “their” special honey on every single thing that goes in their mouths!”
Many more sessions before Christmas…but I am sure everyone will have gorgeous Christmas cards & photo gifts this year! 🙂 Happy Holidays!!

I am super excited to post these pics of a great friend of mine and her beautiful family. Natalie is due with her second lil man very soon, and I am so grateful to photograph her & her happy, glowing self. I cannot believe Parker is 6 now…but its so obvious that he isn’t such a lil toddler anymore. Natalie and I became best friends in college and I’ve been around through all her fun. Josh and Natalie are so perfect together…he’s the only man on the planet that can handle & adore her and her wild self—and Natalie absolutely gushes over Josh, the same way she did when they were dating! 🙂 I’m so happy for their family to soon become 4!!! I am so glad I got to spend the afternoon and evening with them and wish we lived just down the street again like we use to! Hope you enjoy!!
