The Hammond’s were one of the last families I photographed before I broke my arm…and we got some awesome shots. Their babies are growing up WAY too fast!! I absolutely adore this beautiful family. I loved every second of their last shoot by the lake, and this time it was just as much fun at this gorgeous farm in Davidson! Taylor and Daniel have 2 of the cutest kiddos around and we were laughing so hard my tummy actually hurt by the end of the session! Avery feeding the donkeys was a fav moment of my photography lifespan. She is one hell of an animal lover. Complete Bliss. Hope you enjoy this family’s really really late peek!! PS- If only I had a little girl, I would dress her in Avery’s perfect lil wardrobe!!! 🙂

All you Moms & ladies out there get ready to start shopping…Matilda Jane has done it again, they have revealed the second release to their Paint by Numbers collection! They never cease to amaze me. I seem to only wish for a little girl when I see their clothing. I want every single piece in every single collection. So I have to settle for second best…buying it for myself ( YES– they make adult sizes too!) and all my sweet friend’s little girls!
Matilda Jane has the most unique, stylish, mix n match clothing line for little girls I have ever seen, and beyond well-made to top it off.
Last week when we received our MJ products in their fancy & fun packaging we immediately felt special (it was like opening Christmas a couple weeks early!) and could tell the quality was as superior as each time before. We adore what they sent us…and love that you can mix and match the pieces with tons and tons of other items they sell as well. As a photographer, I appreciate the parents that spend the time to put their little girls in clothing that photographs well. Matilda Jane Clothing does just that, plus more. (As I sit here typing, I keep thinking to myself…maybe I should be working for MJ with this much love for their clothing! Or just suck it up and add a little girl to our three wild boys!)

Have I mentioned before that Fall is by far my favorite season to photograph families in? Or have I ever mentioned how lucky I am to have such GORGEOUS clients? This time of year family means so much to so many- and I am so grateful to have a little part in all these incredible family’s lives.
The Ridge Family takes the phrase “awesome photograph” to the next level. Their session was a blast. I love Davidson for many reasons, but this time of the year I love it that much more! Darcy & Brandon cannot take a bad photo, and their sweet boys have followed in their footsteps as well! I almost want to order giant prints of their family for my own walls! Since I am on a roll tonight with FINALLY posting some of the love that has been in front of my lens lately…I will quickly show you one of the kindest, sweetest & most loving families EVER!!! The Colyer family includes 2 stunningly beautiful little girls, a perfect little puppy & the perfect Mom and Dad. Seriously, check out the dictionary…then look under closest thing to a perfect family- there they would sit. 🙂 I enjoyed my morning, so much though that we lost track of time and the day was slipping away. The Maher Family started off on the wrong foot (literally)– I felt terrible, Heather (the precious Mommy) was attacked by a giant pile of ants! 😦 That is never good, but I am grateful it wasn’t one of their precious lil ones!! I am beginning to think I may just stay forever behind on the blog. Blogger FAIL. Or maybe that will be my new stylishly late flow. Either way…let’s not judge my friends. 🙂 (who has time for that anyways!!) Instead enjoy a few gorgeous families that grabbed a spot on my calendar in this CRAZY season of Autumn!
Chance is extraordinary. She is beyond talented. seriously. I don’t know anyone with a better party planning skill set for starters. But if I went on and on about this beauty I would run out of time to post all these fab sessions! I love Chance and her handsome lil man Pierceson! The moment she called me and asked what I had up my sleeve this year for their session, it came to me instantly…THE FAIR!!! I just knew her style would be glowing at a fair, plus what 5 1/2 year old boy doesn’t ADORE the fair! The lights, the colors, the movement and textures, cotton candy, fried oreos (what?), ok funnel cakes and candy apples…I could not wait!!! Their fun session was even more special to me because I got to have my oldest little mini me tag along so as soon as we finished up with all our pics- we all got to enjoy the fair together!!! Making memories for sure! SO SO SO MUCH FUN!!! Hope you get to see a glimpse of what an incredible Mother Chance is and the love/bond these two share. Moms go to the end of the earth for their babies, and no one ever has to ask. 🙂 Enjoy!!!

The Ray Family is fabulous. period. I love their beautiful, large family. All 5 of their kiddos were so incredibly behaved…even after they opened up and relaxed. They are such a joy to photograph and have such a deep love for one another. This Mom & Dad are doing something right! 🙂 I hope to see them all again soon…and I am sure I did quite the abdominal workout that evening from all the laughing!! Enjoy their peek!!!
