JD & Chris inspire me…they are incredible parents and love each other tremendously. I absolutely LOVED photographing their big family of 6 a couple of nights ago. We had so much fun and they were just along for the fun ride. They have 4 very handsome boys, all unique and perfect in their own way. I am not sure how they have such sanity with four, I go crazy many days with my three. Well, our first stop ended up with creepy gypsies trying to scare us away from the “public” property, although I won’t be going back there again- it was so worth their awesome moments captured. And our session ended with a massive shirtless wrestling match between all the boys! Had a blast and hope you enjoy their photos…

I was so excited to photograph this beautiful couple and their growing baby bump last night! Reggie and Shari are expecting their first little peanut in just a couple of weeks, and I cannot wait to meet him. These two are so in love, and Reggie looks at Shari like she hung the moon…which makes my heart smile! They are going to be amazing parents…hope you enjoy their sneak peek!!

Lucky me…I got to photograph another stunning family last night in the NoDa district of Charlotte. The Hampton’s have grown very dear to my heart and their newest addition has completely melted me. We had fun playing in an amazing French bakery, Amelie’s (yes we had french snacks & coffee)…then walked around the center of town just capturing moments. Jake is 5 months and as strong as an ox, Scottie is a spitfire and completely ready to run with the reins of life, and Ella is the star, wants to pose beautifully for me and is sweet to her younger siblings. So much fun…and I am so blessed to have such amazing clients and friends. Enjoy…

Here are a couple shots from yesterday of our sweet little Kolt…I cannot believe he is already 5 months old. Where does time go? He is the sweetest, happiest, most loving baby…so content and calm. We are so lucky and he fills our heart with love.

After rescheduling our session so many times I can’t even remember due to bad weather- we FINALLY got to play! Val and her 3 sweet kiddos played around while I captured it all. Siena is 5, Eli is 3 and Wyatt is 13 months and I know from experience they have their hands full. Being back in the woods scared us all at one point when we kept hearing a loud howling that was getting closer by the second—we were all convinced we were going to be attacked by coyotes…YIKES!! Thank GOODNESS it was only a strong-willed beagle that must have been on a hunt for something because he never stopped his crazy howling! whew!!! It’s always a fun adventure on my photo sessions! ha! Amy and Andy welcomed their second precious little girl into the world less then 2 weeks ago, baby Emma. Sweet sweet family and tiny little cutie girls. Savannah is adjusting to being a big sissy and not the ONLY child anymore but I have a feeling by Emma’s 3 month photos Savannah will be head over heels for her little sis. Lucky me…I got to hold 2 sweet newborns this week! 🙂 Rob and Mimi had their first little bebe 8 days ago, and Sloan could not be any more precious if she tried. She slept the entire time and didn’t ruin any of our blankets, so in my mind she is PERFECT!!! They are a beautiful family…enjoy!

Cottie & Cake and the Hampton Family hosted an incredible event last night, and I am so thankful I was able to be a part of it. The charity event raised money for the Charlotte Levine Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They are doing some amazing things there and growing better every day. Meghan & Steve Hampton spent a lot of time in the NICU and have been touched by it tremendously. Here are a few shots from the incredible night…

Love Dana, Rob and lil Clara…and we had fun as usual!!! We ran into a few minor road bumps this session…mainly ticks! YUCK!!! I hate ticks! And so did they! There was also a lovely population of poison ivy covering the entire property, so we were jumping all over the place to avoid it! Clara is 18 months now and is full throttle…wants to go off on adventures and loves her Mommy & Daddy bunches!! Hope you enjoy their photos…
