January 29, 2012: Charlotte, NC {Senior Session}
One of the dearest people to my heart (and my kiddies) is my AMAZING midwife, Marcia…so when she mentioned that she wanted me to do her daughter’s senior photos I was thrilled! I could never repay her for 3 incredible births and catching them safely! 🙂 The least I could do is play with her adorable daughter, Haley with my camera in hand. Haley has an awesome sense of humor and I loved photographing her. The camera loves her and I am totally convinced she needs to go into modeling…it would pay for her college, no doubt. We had a blast joking around and I hope you enjoy the pics…

Loved getting to go play with baby Axle again yesterday and I can’t believe how much he has grown in 6 weeks!! We had fun hanging out and playing in the little guy’s adorable nursery. He is loved so much and you can see it in all his photos. He is holding up his head already and is the strongest little guy…cannot wait to watch him grow up month by month! enjoy…

Yesterday I was super excited to meet a new couple that are getting married soon (March to be exact) and have fun learning about them, their relationship and their upcoming wedding! Adam and Jenifer were so sweet and loving and hilarious at times too! Love their story & it just reminds me how fate has a way…always at the right place at the right time. You can see how much they truly love each other and can’t wait to start their future together. Plus- they rock for hanging out with me in the freezing cold and patiently waiting through my little nursing breaks for baby Kolt. Love photographing great friends, especially when I am capturing moments they’ll treasure forever! Ashley and Jay are beginning the journey of parenthood and I am so excited for them. Baby Hank is due in March and I look forward to meeting him soon! They deserve the best and will be amazing parents. We had a blast playing on the farm and showing off Ashley’s lil baby bump! I am absolutely thrilled to be “back in the saddle” again…I have missed being behind the lens and playing with families and babies! Today I photographed beautiful, 8 day old- AVA! I got to meet her sweet parents, Lisa Marie and Jonathan a few months back when we did their fun maternity shoot and I loved getting to meet their little princess today! She seemed huge compared to my mini baby but she is a perfect 7 pound lady! She slept from the moment I arrived until the moment I left, what a dream baby! Hope you enjoy the beautiful lil one…

Just wanted to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVE and an exciting 2012 ahead! 2011 has been more then incredible for us and I can’t even imagine what this next year has in store for us! December 26, 2011: Charlotte, NC {Personal}
I know I haven’t posted anything in a week or so…but we had a couple fun events occur. Christmas is obviously one, and it was by far the best Christmas our family has ever had! I hope everyone had just as wonderful a Christmas! My amazing news is we had our 3rd handsome little man on December 22nd @ 11:55pm. 🙂 He is a gift from God and couldn’t be more perfect! We went shopping at Target and 2 hours later he was here! Since he was only 35 weeks gestation, he is tiny (currently 5lbs 6oz) but strong. I’m taking a couple weeks off to love on him and get him nice and strong for his big brothers! Looking forward to seeing everyone in January and 2012…it’s going to be a phenomenal year, I just can feel it! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all!!
